Hi Everyone!

This is a warm up question, but also a very important question to get the ball rolling, and those neutrons firing! Very Happy
Q1. What would you like to learn about most? and why?
This is a great warm up question, because it help set you your goals. It also helps us with alignment. We do much better when we are aligned. Very Happy

Looking forward to seeing your responses!

I am interested in learning more about working memory。Specifically I would like to learn about the effects of having a weak short term memory but a strong long term, and a strong short term memory and weak long term memory, on learners ability to process instruction and how teachers might incorporate this knowledge into lesson design.

I would like to know more about the effects of adding gestures and movement to education targets and why it seems to help learners remember and recall things more easily. Similarly, I'm interested to know about why songs get stuck in our heads and how songs/music can be effective tools for learning.

I'm interested in being exposed to and learning about a wide variety of topics in this field. However, from my independent reading to date I'm very fascinated by cognitive biases and behavioral economics. I'd also be interested in finding ways to apply the information learnt in a practical way to improve my teaching and my students' learning.

I had wanted to learn how to use more of the neuro-ELT techniques easily in my class. I guess to be more organic in teaching because sometimes I forget to apply what I have learned due to classroom problems that arise.
